胡旭明,香港科技大学(广州)人工智能学域副研究员、助理教授、博士生导师。胡旭明博士的研究方向包括自然语言处理和大语言模型,具体包括可信大语言模型探究、大语言模型的蒸馏、加速以及垂类大语言模型的训练研发。近五年,胡旭明博士在KDD、ICLR、ACL、TKDE等数据挖掘、自然语言处理领域国际顶级期刊和会议上发表了20余篇第一作者文章,受到凤凰网、光明网等国内媒体广泛报道,担任ACL、NAACL、EACL等自然语言处理顶级会议的领域主席以及ACL Rolling Review的执行编辑,并且组织了2023年国际大数据竞赛、2022年重庆市人工智能竞赛,吸引了全球超过3000多支队伍参赛。

Xuming HU is an Associate Researcher, Assistant Professor, and Ph.D. Supervisor in the AI Thrust at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). Dr. Hu’s research interests include natural language processing, data mining and large language models, specifically in trustworthy large language model exploration, distillation and acceleration of large language models, and the training and development of vertical large language models. In the past five years, Dr. Hu has published over 20 first-author papers in top international journals and conferences in the fields of data mining and natural language processing, such as KDD, ICLR, ACL, and TKDE. His work has been widely reported by domestic media including Phoenix Network and Guangming Web. He has served as an Area Chair for top natural language processing conferences like ACL, NAACL, and EACL, as well as the Action Editor for ACL Rolling Review. Dr. Hu has also organized the 2023 International Big Data Competition and the 2022 Chongqing Artificial Intelligence Competition, attracting more than 3,000 teams worldwide.
